Beauty Hushes the Clamor…

Stillnessmushroom

a poppy field and a country view in LatviaSunflower close-up against dark blue sky

Blue skies.

Sunlight glistening on trees.

Bees searching for a virgin flower to drink from.

Trash cans emptied and lying on their sides.

Branches bowing to the wind.

Freshly mown grass.

Azaleas everywhere.

A fly, jerkily searching for his way out the windowpane.

Clouds gliding across a blue ocean sky.

Beauty making my soul stop. And take a breath.

No room for clamoring details here at the window.

Just looking, watching, seeing.

Pausing, breathing, being STILL.

Because stillness and beauty feed my soul.
